จากการรณรงค์คัดค้านการเข้าร่วมความตกลง CPTPP ซึ่งเป็นความตกลงเขตการค้าเสรีรูปแบบหนึ่งที่จะส่งผลกระทบบั่นทอนภาคการเกษตรและระบบสุขภาพ รัฐสภาของไทยมีมติให้ตั้งคณะกรรมาธิการพิเศษชุดหนึ่งขึ้น เพื่อทำการศึกษาผลกระทบของความตกลงนี้ โดยรวบรวมข้อมูลเชิงวิชาการและความคิดเห็นจากผู้เชี่ยวชาญและผู้มีส่วนได้เสียกลุ่มต่างๆ รวมถึงภาคประชาสังคม ในช่วง มิ.ย. ถึง ต.ค. 2563 รายงานฉบับนี้ได้นำเสนอต่อรัฐสภาเมื่อวันที่ 21 พ.ย. 2563 และสมาชิกผู้แทนราษฎรได้ลงคะแนนเสียงยอมรับรายงานฉบับนี้ และมีมติว่าประเทศยังไม่พร้อมเข้าร่วมความตกลง CPTPP เนื่องจากข้อกังวลต่างๆ...
