• Pfizer and BioNTech issue a press release announcing initial results from a phase II/III trial in children ages 6 months to 11 years with data from 2,268 children ages 5-11 who were given two 10 µg doses of the coronavirus vaccine. Based on blood samples, their immune responses at one month after the second dose were similar to those among people ages 16-25, who were given two 30 µg doses, as were vaccine side effects. The companies plan to submit data to the US FDA, the EMA and other regulators as soon as possible.
